Lara Bzik is the founder of Georgica Search Partners, a boutique executive search firm focused on investors and high performing leadership teams.
Prior to founding GSP, Lara spent four years at Blackstone where she was a Principal in the Executive Office working for the President and COO. She also led new market entry initiatives for Blackstone Private Wealth, the firm’s retail fundraising business.
Lara started her career as a pilot in the U.S. Navy, where she flew the P-8A Poseidon on reconnaissance and submarine hunting missions. She was also a Liaison Officer to the U.S. Senate, where she led international congressional delegations and represented the Navy on Capitol Hill.
Lara is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds an MBA from The Wharton School. She is a competitive endurance athlete, sailor, and kiteboarder. Lara lives in Manhattan with her husband, Phillip.
